Description:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a complete iconset replacement for Bloodwych's ClassicWB3.9 pack.
It's based on normal (not SmallMagic) MagicWB icons and palette of course
and they are best displayed on Hi-Res and upwards resolutions.
The reason for making this iconset was because OS3.9 running on 16 colors
on ECS systems is not as responsive as 8 colors alas I decided to use 8
colors for speed and MagicWB icons as they are nice and really give that
retr0 nostalgic feeling :)
What's included:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most of the icons used on this pack were found on various Aminet MagicWB packs
and some were made by me (like Alphanumeric drawers in Demos/Games, Trident,
PsdRomTag, HardDisk-Work).
To amplify the pack even more I'm including the following:
- Brushes (along with icons in order to view them easier) in MagicWB colors
in order to use them with ToolManager dock program. These brushes come in
various sizes (big, normal, tiny to use them everywhere you love.
- Drawer icons to use them with any program you have.
- Full icon set icons per category to help you use any icon of your choice
per circumstance.
- A modified MagicWB 8 color palette to use with FullPalette
Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As the icons were copied from my own ClassicWB3.9 system, they retain all
neccesary Tooltypes etc, so they can freely copied overwriting your own
icons without having to replace them via another tool (Ex. CopyIcon) one by
one. If you don't want to compromise any program working though feel free to
make a backup before doing so, as I'll take no responsibility in case any
programs of yours doesn't work after the icon replacement (due to missing
tooltype or insuficient stack size).
I suggest to use a filemanager tool like DirectoryOpus in order to copy the
icons easier and by making selections as you please.
If you plan on using my own palette, you should install FullPalette (Aminet)
and load my palette with it and save.
You can also double click the supplied icon to give it a test.
Feel free to give any comments or suggestions through my email.
Also you can drop by my blog where I have some guides about how to beautify
your Workbench (http://www.mfilos.com)
Enjoy :)
