Apart from being a cool picture, it was created using an algorithm I
coded some days ago which uses floatingpoint precision and dithers the
image (Floyd-Steinberg) to 24-bit RGB. Simply put, the routine generates
plasma in RGB and alpha-channel components. Before the alpha-channel is
applied, the pixels are maximized by adding saturation. So it's not just
the usual rainbow plasma thingy. The pixelcount is HUGE. If you got a
24-bit display and want to brag about it, this is the way to do it.
And oh, the jpeg is 100% quality. If you reduce filesize by introducing
datareduction, please note that the effect of the Floyd-Steinberg
dithering and the true 24-bit precision will be lost. I can do custom
sizes on request (they will be uploaded to Aminet).
