Introduction
------------
AmyGate is the first internet client with full support for all the services
offered by Aminet. You usually need many programs to have full access to
Aminet: for instance a web browser to surf easily through the various
directories and files, a ftp-client to upload your files, an email-client
to rate a program or un/subscribe the mailing list... and so on.
AmyGate can do all these things in the most confortable and easy way for
the user, with integrated support of HTTP, FTP and SMTP protocols.
AmyGate supports:
- Aminet Mailing List
- Recent Uploads
- Last seven days uploads list
- Upload(not yet full workring) and Download (...with resume transfer)
- Search of a file
- Aminet CHARTS
- Rating programs

- Fixed the bug in the download routine. If the built-in Miami support wasn't activated, AmyGate
always fails during the file transfers
- Now the ampersands tag & is correctly displayed

- Fixed the mungwall hits during the program exit. Now the progam is 100% hits free!
- Fixed a little bug in the HTML parser... now ALL the uploads are listed
- Now the URL is saved as comment to the downloaded file
- Added the bubble help feature
- During the program exit, the windows position are saved
- Added the built-in Miami support. It allows you to go on/offline when
required, and the possibility to automatically disconnet when all the
file transfers are completed
- Added the queue feature in the bookmark. Now you can specify the
maximum number of files downloaded simultaneously
- Added the possibility to read the whole content of the specified Aminet
directory, and browse it
- Added the user defined Aminet server. AmyGate will use the main
servers for the basic operations, but now you can specify your
prefered server for download. Read the doc first!
- Improved the file transfer speed, and added the % display in the
network status listview
- Reworked the c2p routines. Now the icons should looks better, expecially
with the OS 3.5 and 3.9
- Changed the prefs file format! I'm sorry but you've to reconfigure the
program. Not a big problem... just 1 minute! Remember to take a note of your
Aminet Code if you're already registered!!!
