I am proud to announce the Public Release of the Plutonic Message
System, a *.MSG compatible editor which will run as a standalone editor
for nodes and points, and also run as a door from the OzMetro BBS
package giving it extremely powerful message facilities.
If you have the OzMetro BBS program you will need Plutonic. But the
reverse isn't true - you don't need OzMetro if you are using Plutonic
for handling a *.MSG base. TrapToss users can now at last replace
Chameleon with something a lot more powerful, and certainly more recent!
Plutonic isn't something that's been whipped up in the last month or
two. Development started back in September 1991, and it shows. Pluto
is getting to be quite mature now, and its reliability is a testimony to
the development. This is NOT a public beta release or anything, it's
been extensively tested and while I cannot say there are no bugs in the
program, I haven't been able to find any!
