AmiSlate 1.4:

SYNOPSIS
--------

AmiSlate is a paint program that lets you draw interactively
with a friend over the Internet. It also sports a heavy-duty
ARexx interface, which allows it to be programmed to do other
things as well. (For examples, check out the included ARexx scripts).

AmiSlate requires AS225 or AmiTCP (3.0b2 or higher), and WorkBench
2.04 or higher.

NEW IN RELEASE 1.4
------------------

- An AS225 version is now included.
- A "Transmit Pointer" option, so your peer can see where your
  mouse is.
- A "Load Brush" option for more flexible IFF loading.
- More ARexx scripts, including Checkers, Reversi, and Backgammon.
- Many Bug Fixes and small enhancements

RELEASE NOTES
-------------

1) AmiSlate 1.4 is not able to communicate correctly with
versions 1.3 or lower. Sorry about that! Tell your friends
   to upgrade!

2) The Installer script now uses an ARexx script to update
your inetd.conf and services files. This script is smart
enough to add the right line if it's not there, or replace
the old line if it is. It is also safe--it will make a
backup of the old configuration file before writing.
So feel free to let the Install script do your editing
   for you.

3) If you don't let the Installer update your config files,
then make sure the entry in inetd.conf points to the right
executable! AmiSlate now comes as AmiSlate_AmiTCP and
AmiSlate_AS225, and you need to make sure the line in
db/inetd.conf still refers to the correct executable file.

4) Send any comments, suggestions, bug reports, money, and marriage
   proposals to: jfriesne@ucsd.edu
