About 1989 my `partner in crime' Oliver Paesler bought
200 Commodore Intl. shares. When the company went to the
fishes and the value of the shares dropped to zero he had
his shares issued and received the certificate pictured in
the enclosed JPEG image file. The certificate was scanned
on an old Epson scanner at 100 DPI, using ADPro v2.5.0.
There actually are a few nasty moire effects which
rainbow-colour the steel engraving left of the Commodore
company name. These are not present in the original
certificate. In case you wonder about the registration
date (September 9, 1994): the certificate was issued way
after Commodore Intl. Ltd. went into liquidation
(April 29, 1994) when Oliver lost his hope that the company
would eventually recover.
