  But blue numbers projected on a screen, I shiver in anticipation...
slight droplets of perspiration materialise on my temples while the warm
contact of the skivvy around my neck becomes insanely itchy. Strobe
lights begin to flash, sending me towards a hypnogogic state of
consciousness; a state of excitement fueled only by one-hundred percent
pure adrenalin.
  Gradually the beat beckons my body in an overwhelming stir..resistance
is useless..the ritual has begun. Males in an attire not dissimilar to
mine, spread themselves throughout females like moontide washed over
a rocky shore. The scene begins to thrive like a dream unleashed..
one-hundred and one lost souls, working their lost bodies. Blue 5-o-1's
and black stockings intertwined in a way almost perverse to the
initiate..but always the same..always I stare,,fantasies escaping into
my imagination and swirling, whirling, until I again remember to breathe.
  But I dare not join them for they are the common people; yet so
beautiful..so enticing and so very unreal. But reality is where I
stand and the internal energy I conjure is stronger than the impulsive
force drawing me into the vibration of the bass and the rhythm of the
beat. Their arms fly into the air as they stare deeply into the strobe,
and an eerie techno scream thunders throughout the club..they have
lost control..oh heavenly trance!
