Do you have a non-31khz monotor? (1084s/TV etc)
  Do you hate the bloody flickering PAL mode?

Then i think this hacked Euro36 monitor is something for you.

Currently, im running my Workbench at 704x256 in 57Hz - much less flicker
than PAL. Ofcourse, this is only a temporary solution until i get a
multisync monitor, but it's better than nothing...

To install it, use the script or copy the files by yourself.
I don't think this will work on pre 3.x machines, but give it a try!
