Short: Prokofiev 5th Symphony .MID, 1st 2 movements Author: Gary Goldberg (gg0012@epfl2.epflbalto.org) Uploader: Gary Goldberg (gg0012 epfl2 epflbalto org) Type: mods/midi Architecture: generic Description: These sequences, the 1st 2 movements of Prokofiev's 5th Symphony, have been done for the Proteus 2 and the Orchestral Expansion card of the Roland JV1080. All track not beginning with "Roland" are for the Proteus. You'll need a multiport MIDI interface (such as Triple Play Plus) to play the sequences as written because there are too many instruments; besides "the usual", Prokofiev used a piano, harp, contrabassoon, Eb clarinet, bass clarinet, and English horn). There should be no program changes within tracks except for Horns, where I use Proteus 2 program 36 for soft passages, 37 for loud ones, and 38 for section horns. All track have been transposed to C (actually at least two scores of this symphony are printed this way!) and the sequences have been converted to .MID files. --Gary Goldberg National Capital Amiga Users Group
